Dedicated to the “father” of the string quartet, Mozart’s six “Haydn Quartets” stand alone for their bold vision and expressive qualities.

Performing on authentic instruments of the period, Ironwood present the third in the series, the String Quartet in Eb Major K428. This joyous program also includes the dramatic Quartet in G minor K478, featuring Neal Peres da Costa on fortepiano.
