The music of Elena Kats-Chernin – one of Australia’s most popular composers – combines lightheartedness with melancholy, blending elements of cabaret, tango, klezmer and Bach.

Acacia Quartet has a special affinity with Elena’s music, recently collaborating to record her complete works for string quartet.

Blue Silence features a selection of these works, including the universally popular “Eliza Aria”.
