In 2013 we team up with Port Phillip Estate to present our new “After Hours” series, showcasing jazz and world music in a relaxed cellar door setting.
With its landmark architecture and spectacular evening views over Westernport Bay, this is the perfect location in which to enjoy exceptional food, wine and music.
Alwan – SOLD OUT
Its very name – Alwan, meaning “colour” in Arabic – is the perfect description for the music of this unique Middle Eastern ensemble. Matt Stonehouse (percussion) and Phil Carroll (accordion, ney flute, duduk, zurna, vocals) – both Melbourne-born musicians trained in Turkey and Iran – and Israel-born Yuval Ashkar (oud, vocals, percussion), come together to play Turkish, Arabic, Persian and Sephardic music that is truly irresistible.

Tim Stevens Trio – SOLD OUT
One of Australian jazz’s most lyrical composers and pianists, Tim Stevens, is joined by long-term collaborators Ben Robertson (bass) and Dave Beck (drums) for an evening of exceptionally evocative and beautiful improvisation.
