Berlin-born and raised mezzo-soprano Charlotte Betts-Dean possesses a captivating voice and a stage presence to match.

Together with Melbourne-based pianist Konrad Olszewski, she performs a selection of songs spanning three centuries, illustrating the joys and dangers of love.

Performed in the intimate space of Main Ridge Estate’s cellar door, highlights of this captivating program include Fauré’s Chanson d’Amour, Schubert’s Du bist die Ruhe, Debussy’s Chansons de Bilitis, Grainger’s Died for Love and works by Janáček, Britten and Sibelius.
